Every year the Moscow Chamber of Attorneys, the Federal Chamber of the Russian Federation, the lawyers of Moscow and Moscow region (oblast) arrange cultural activities to maintain close relationships between the bars, ensure an exchange of ideas and promote a constant discourse on various legal and organizational issues. After the Third Conference of Moscow Attorneys held on December 18, 2004, the attorneys met again at their annual New Year Ball arranged by the Moscow Chamber of Attorneys on December 19, 2004 in the Napoleon Banquet Hall.
The ball commenced with an aperitif in the lobby, where all the guests were invited for a glass of fine Champaign. The guests also enjoyed a ball-room dancing performed by professional ball dancers asked to participate in the ball's entertainment program. After the aperitif the guests were invited to the banquet hall for an official dinner.
The first New Year greetings were made by the President of the Moscow Chamber of Attorneys Henry M. Reznik and Vice-Presidents S. Krivosheev and A. Zhivina. President Reznik wished his colleagues "to enjoy fruitful work, generous clients, and, what is more important, to respect the title of the attorney, maintain his dignity and always diligently fulfill his obligations".
